Position Title: Part-Time Family Monitor
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Working Hours:

  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Connecting Families Project is a trusted organization committed to fostering safe and healthy family relationships. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a social work or related background to join our team as a Supervised Visitation Monitor. This role is perfect for someone who values supporting families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children during visitations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and facilitate visitation sessions between parents and children in a safe, structured environment.

  • Ensure adherence to visitation guidelines and policies established by Connecting Families Project.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of visitation sessions, including observations and incidents.

  • Provide a neutral, supportive presence that encourages positive parent-child interactions.

  • Promote appropriate behavior and foster a nurturing atmosphere during visitations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent observation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially challenging situations.

  • Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity to family dynamics.

  • Experience working with children or families is strongly preferred.
